How to Master Klondike Solitaire

The Goal

Build four stacks (Foundations) for each suit in ascending order, from Ace to King. Victory is achieved when all 52 cards are correctly sorted into these four stacks.

3-Card Draw Rule

When clicking the stock pile, three cards are flipped over into the waste pile. Only the top-most card of these three is playable. Once the top card is moved, the one beneath it becomes available.

Building Piles

In the Tableau (main board), cards must be placed in descending order and alternating colors. For example, a red 7 can only be placed on a black 8.

Special Rules

• • Only a King can be placed in an empty Tableau slot.
• • Full sequences of alternating cards can be moved as a single unit.
• • Aces are the foundation's base; build them up from Ace to King.
